THE TEACHINGS OF THE WAY ARE AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN THIS WORLD AND THE KINGDOM The watcher : part III The New Testament in it’s original form, as it existed prior to being rewritten by the Church of Rome, depicted the essence of New Covenant thought in the portrayal of the children of the Light vs. the children of the Darkness -- i.e., the Spiritual Israelites vs. the carnal Israelites. When Jesus therefore condemned the Sadducees and Pharisees, it was not only because they were counterfeit Jews who called themselves the Nation of Israel, but they were in every way the people of the god of this world. That carnal man attempts to place themselves in a position of authority by promoting themselves as the ones ordained by God to oversee the (spiritual) welfare and salvation of the people, is not unique to the Sadducees and Pharisees, and is a reality that man has had to deal with throughout his history upon the earth. When the Gentiles, therefore, abducted Jesus and attempted to portray themselves as the true people of God, the historical perspective of the scriptures had to be altered, and the Spiritual Israelites had to be edited out of the New Testament in order to create the bogus doctrine that the Jews rejected Jesus. That history continually repeats itself, means that this dilemma continues to confronts us today -- i.e., in the same way that the carnal Jews not only rejected, but also crucified the Christ, the carnal Christians who no longer possess the knowledge to understand the spiritual meaning of the scriptures and the Mysteries of God -- Mysteries that can only be discerned by believers who have overcome the limitations of the flesh -- crucify the Christ afresh and put the Son of God to an open shame (Heb 6:6). In this web site you will be confronted with the teachings of The Way in its original form that was taught by Yeshua (Jesus). You will also find overwhelming proof that our scriptures were rewritten by the Gentile Church, and you will be able to see a more pure copy of the scriptures which was hidden away from the hands of the corrupters. When you gaze upon the written gospel in its more perfect form, you will be astounded! In fact, because we fail to understand the (spiritual) nature of the sin of the historical man Judas today, the greater number of Christians who consider themselves to be sincere people of faith, will be seen as being guilty of the same exact sin as was Judas who is portrayed in the New Testament as the one who physically betrayed Jesus!
Perhaps more than any other, these words are of paramount importance to modern believers today! The sin of Judas -- which name means Jew -- from a scriptural perspective, is indicative of a person who interprets and attempts to practice their religion outwardly, instead of inwardly. It was this same sin of practicing religion outwardly, instead of inwardly, that prompted Jesus to condemn the Sadducees and Pharisees for making prayers for other men to hear -- wearing garments with fancy frills -- and failing to turn the Key of Knowledge found in the scriptures inwardly. In the manner of Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians today, Judas believed the biblical prophesies outwardly -- i.e., he believed that Jesus was the true Messiah who was sent from God -- and like his modern Christian brothers, he was looking for the Kingdom of God to come upon the earth. From a biblical perspective, the predicted Messiah would be recognized because he would inaugurate the Kingdom of God -- and it was for this reason that the Pharisees asked Jesus when he would bring about the beginning of the Kingdom: "Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come..." (Luke 17:20 NKJ). This was of course a reasonable question because they believed the signs and wonders that Jesus performed -- that he was the Messiah -- and that he would fulfill the scriptures and inaugurate the Kingdom. The problem is seen in the fact that that the Pharisees held parallel beliefs with Christians today -- i.e., because they have not overcome their carnal mindset and nature, they are looking for the Kingdom to come upon the earth, rather than within themselves -- and this is readily seen in Jesus' reply: "He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here! or See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ). What this means is that from a biblical perspective, the majority of esteemed and highly regarded Christian religious authorities today, are very much as the leaders of the Sadducees and Pharisees were in the time of Jesus -- i.e., they not only practice their tenets of religion outwardly, but they look for Christ to bring about the Kingdom upon the earth in the same exact manner as did Judas!
When Judas betrayed Jesus, he believed he was doing good! Moreover, if the modern Jehovah's Witness, Evangelical Christian, or many sincere believers today were put in the position of Judas, they would in fact do the same exact thing. Why? Because Judas believed that Jesus was the true Messiah -- and in not understanding the spiritual essence of the teachings of The Way, Judas believed he could force the hand of Jesus, and cause him to inaugurate the expected and predicted Kingdom upon the earth. What this means is that the sincere Sadducee or Pharisee in the first century of our Common Era, were in fact religious brothers in common with the sincere Jew or Christian today! Each ardently awaits and prays for the Kingdom to come upon the earth in their own time -- and each is equally ignoring the very essence of the Gospel Message!
From a New Covenant perspective, those who are found worthy of inheriting the promise of eternal life, and have thus prepared themselves to be a consecrated vessel within which the Holy Spirit can dwell, are permitted to enter the Temple of God within themselves -- and being in the world and not of it, they are able to be with the Lord while they are still physically alive in this realm. With respect to these souls who are truly Saved and have gone to Glory, they have attempted many times throughout the history of mankind to speak to their (Jewish/Christian) brothers and sisters in the Gospel, but the greater number of the congregation of believers have refused to listen. As a people who profess to believe, those who call themselves Christians have for the most part been unwilling to pick up their crosses and actually walk in The Way, because they consider it too great a loss of the things of this world to be in the world and not of it!
This realm in which we presently dwell is the "outer darkness" (Matt 22:13) and the "prison"prison" (Matt 5:25) where our debts of the past must be repaid as we prepare ourselves to put on the "marriage garment" (Matt 22:12). When we overcome the flesh (repent <open and unloose the mind>), the entrance to the Kingdom within (Luke 17:21) will be opened to us. Thus, while the counterfeit Israelites must rely upon the corrupted scriptures of this world, the truly faithful who are the Spiritual Nation of Israel, have always had access to the True Written Word of God which is inscribed on our hearts and minds (Heb 18:10). WORSHIP IN CHURCHES OF THIS WORLD IDOLATRY: Because we are ourselves blinded by the limitations of this world (the realm of the outer darkness), and we are unable to perceive the true depth of the scriptures and the Gospel of God as portrayed in Paul’s references to the Mysteries of God, we fail to understand that the Kingdom of God exists in a parallel realm that the true Israelite can enter, even while physically alive in this world. Once this higher reality is comprehended -- a reality that Paul describes as "…paradise [where he] heard things so astounding that they are beyond a man's power to describe or put in words (and anyway I am not allowed to tell them to others)" (2 Cor 12:2-4 TLB) -- then the reliance upon the written word, the temples of this world which is made with hands, and the worship of a deity in the form of man, are all seen as the prohibition against creating and worshiping an idol and the graven images of this world as seen in the commandment: "You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments" (Exod 20:3-6 NKJ). The Key of Knowledge which the carnal Jewish sects of the Sadducees and Pharisees failed to utilize, was the reality that the scriptures portray the pattern of mind and consciousness to the disciple of Light: "They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: 'See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain'" (Heb 8:5 NIV). With respect to this pattern, Paul even goes so far as to teach us that the Temple is within us -- and therein God dwells in the depths of our hearts and minds: "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" (1 Cor 3:16 NKJ). In
the design of the Temple, you will find the very pattern of mind within
yourselves. The people of this world are said to be in the "outer
darkness", because their level of conscious awareness is as the "court
of the Gentiles" in the pattern of the Temple. The "court
of the Israelites" represent the consciousness of those who have
brought their mind into oneness -- i.e., the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
has been transformed into the Tree of Life. The "court of
priests" represent a state of mind where the disciple has entered
within the inner Kingdom. The "holy of holies"
can only be entered by those who have completed the journey of The Way, and they
are the prodigal sons who have returned to their Heavenly Father.
The problem is that the religion of the simple faith that is practiced today, no
longer possess the Key of Knowledge, and is leading the flock in the wrong
direction -- i.e., the "broad-way to destruction". In the same way that the carnal Jewish sects of the Sadducees and Pharisees were a spiritually disenfranchised people who were forced to worship the god of this world in a temple made with hands, this same fate befalls Christians today because they cling to the doctrines of Rome and use the corrupted Bible which the "correctors" of Constantine "… following the church meeting at Nicea 325 AD, selected by the church authorities to scrutinize the sacred texts and rewrite them in order to correct their meaning in accordance with the views which the church had just sanctioned" (Prof. Eberhard Nestle; Einfhrung in die Textkritik des griechischen Testaments). Yet, even with the corruption of the scriptures, the present-day Bible is sufficient to find the Truth and the Kingdom. The symbols and pattern are still there, all one needs do is apply the scriptures intimately to one's life and the search for Truth. We have been told that: "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else... God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring'" (Acts 17:24-28 NIV). Thus, God will be found when we begin to seek Him within ourselves -- for Jesus himself taught us that: "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you'" (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ). Where the majority of clergy today has in the past viewed the idea that the church and the scriptures became corrupted -- claiming that God would never permit such a thing to happen -- they are in denial because they neither comprehend where the Truth Temple of God exists, and neither do they understand the true meaning of the scriptures with respect to the Key of Knowledge which opens the inner door to our soul and spiritual natures. With respect to their state of denial wherein they claim that God would never permit His Church to become defiled, again let me quote the words of Luther: "The Church…once the holiest of all, has become the most licentious den of thieves, the most shameless of all brothels, the kingdom of sin, death, and hell. It is so bad that even Antichrist himself, if he should come, could think of nothing to add to its wickedness". Where we think church, God focuses on the individual who is the True Temple of the Lord. That men create temples and churches in this world that are at best, a pattern, does not inhibit God from permitting those who live and dwell in accordance with the Royal Law of the Most High, from permitting the truly faithful flock into the Temple of their soul and spiritual natures. Thus, neither the True Church of God has ever been defiled -- and neither has the Word that is written in our hearts and minds ever been corrupted -- and all that is required of any man is very clearly set before us: "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8 NKJ). What we fail to understand in the limited reasoning of our carnal minds, is that the truly faithful believer who purified and consecrated themselves -- observing the Sabbath and the Commandments of God in word, thought and deed -- have always had access to the Pure Word and the undefiled Temple of God within them. CARNAL MAN CANNOT PERCEIVE SPIRITUAL TRUTHS: That the majority of clergy and carnal believers will reject the Higher Truth when it is presented to them, is already predicted in the words: "Oh, be careful! Don't let the prophets' words apply to you. For they said, Look and perish, you despisers of the truth, for I am doing something in your day-- something that you won't believe when you hear it announced" (Acts 13:40-41 TLB). GOD USES THE ERROR OF MAN FOR GOOD: Many Christians today reason that if the church was not acceptable to God, that He would somehow communicate with the body of believers and correct the error. Yet, the flaw in this doctrinal position is easily demonstrated in the fact that this has not been the case throughout the history of the church. With the advent of the Church of Rome in the fourth century, anyone who did not adhere with the doctrines of the Emperors was put to death. The Bible was among the books banned by the church government. Even today we can easily observe the fallacy of this flawed position which is commonly held among modern Christians -- i.e., there is little to no agreement among relatively large groups of believers on almost every point of Christian doctrine. One only has to access the internet and initiate a search on Jehovah's Witness to see the great number of web sites which attempt to prove that the Witnesses are a cult. As just one example the reader can access the web site at: http://www.holyscriptures.com/. In like manner, many mainline churches portray Fundamentalist Christians as extremists who are misinterpreting both the scriptures and the purpose of religion. The Mormons, Quakers, Pentecostals, the Seventh Day Adventists, as well as any religious group which requires a very serious adherence to biblical principles are all portrayed as cults. Where, then, is the unity in the church of this world? In the case of the Roman Catholic Church, the Evangelical Fundamentalists, the Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Seventh Day Adventists, we are presented with groups of dedicated and faithful believers who all hold opposing and often conflicting religious doctrines. Why? We are told that the Pope is God's representative on earth -- the Evangelical Christians believe they are "spirit filled", and that God guides their every step -- the Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their core assembly in Brooklyn, New York, are all Anointed by God as His witnesses and congregation of true believers -- and the Seventh Day Adventists believe that the nineteenth century prophetess, Ellen White, brought to the body of believers the true revelation of Christ. Each of these groups of faithful adherents profess to believe that they are all in the truth, regardless of the fact that each of their foundational doctrines is in direct opposition to the others. While it is easy for the members of each group to believe that they are right, and the others are wrong, such a manner of thinking is not only contrary to the Bible itself, but undermines the very foundation of the Church. In fact, it is often this total lack of uniformity of thought among the more dedicated believers, in conjunction with the profession that each group is "in the truth" because they communicate with the Supreme Creator of the world, that causes more rationally minded people to not only question, but totally reject both the church and their God. Are the critics of the church unreasonable? In view of the fact that the Apostle Paul himself condemns the creation of sects among the believing body of the church (Titus 3:10-11 NIV) -- and the sin which Jesus constantly attributed to the Sadducees and Pharisees, calling them blind guides, was the teaching of manmade doctrines and traditions -- the critics are merely echoing the very same position which is a fundamental axiom of the Bible itself! If the scriptures are correct in its constant assertion to reject all manmade doctrine and traditions, then it would be reasonable to conclude that if there was indeed a God, then it would be a reasonable assumption that He would guide His most faithful believers into a semblance and uniformity of truth as the Bible promises. What truly makes the problem complex is the fact that Jesus very clearly commands his followers not to be teachers, because he would fulfill the role as the one and only teacher of the church, as seen in the words: "You must not be called ‘Teacher,’ because you are all brothers of one another and have only one Teacher" (Matt 23:8 TEV). Fundamentally, what Jesus promised was that, unlike the Jews and the people of the Nations who believed in the doctrines, traditions and speculations of other men, his followers would be set apart from the rest of the peoples of the earth, because he would personally teach and reveal all Mysteries of Creation to those who walked in The Way. Yet, in practice, it would appear that this fundamental biblical doctrine possesses absolutely no relevance of truth whatsoever. While it may be acceptable to Roman Catholics to view all other Christian sects as being founded in error because they are not members of Christ's one Church which, in accordance with their doctrines of belief, is the only true church by virtue of Apostolic succession, the opponents of the Roman Catholic Church can easily demonstrate the churches deviance from biblical teachings. Where the problem truly undermines many of the core teachings of the Bible, though, is seen in the fact that the Jehovah's Witnesses, Fundamentalist Evangelical Christians, and the Seventh Day Adventists all adhere to a strict interpretation of the scriptures, and yet there are found very few points of agreement among them. Add to this equation the fact that the liberal mainline churches openly espouse the idea that the foregoing Christian Denominations are all right wing extremists, and it is an easy task for the opponents of the Church to simply dismiss Christianity as nothing more than superstition, myth and legend of no genuine value to modern man. What we are presented with in this real life scenario is proof of the biblical assertion that carnal man who attempts to judge what he sees and hears in accordance with his own limited perception, will always be in error. More importantly, though, is the fact that what we view as error on the part of our fellow man, is actually brought about and ordained by the Hand of God working upon the hearts and minds of mankind. What that means is that the Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the manner that they do, because of the Hand of God acting upon their thinking. In like manner, the Fundamentalist Evangelical Christian who holds totally opposite beliefs on many important points, also believes in the manner they do because of the Hand of God acting upon their thinking. Moreover, this is true of not only all the various religious sects the world over, but also the Atheists, agnostics and non-committed people as well. The answer to the dilemma can be found in a little used first century series of writings attributed to Clement, the disciple of the Apostle Peter. One of the deep dark secrets of Christian history is the fact that the man known today as the Apostle Paul was portrayed as Simon Magus, the great corrupter of the Word of God by the first followers of Jesus. In one confrontation between Peter and Paul/Simon, we can learn an important fact pertaining to the manner in which the scriptures are written which captures the reality of life itself: “Therefore Simon, who is going to discuss in public with us tomorrow, is bold against the monarchy of God, wishing to produce many statements from these Scriptures, to the effect that there are many gods, and a certain one who is not He who made this world, but who is superior to Him; and, at the same time, he is going to offer many scriptural proofs. But we also can easily show many passages from them that He who made the world alone is God, and that there is none other besides Him”. What
Peter is teaching his disciple Clement is that the scriptures are written in
such a manner that whoever attempts to read them, will merely see what they
choose to believe. Thus, it is foretold that each side
(Peter and Simon Magus) will be able to prove their dogma
with many scriptural passages. Simon
will be able to prove that the world was created by a false god -- and Peter
will be able to prove that the world was created by the One God.
Both will be able to use the same scriptures to prove their assertions.
This inherent design of scripture is by Divine Providence that each
person sees in the body of the writings which confirm their own beliefs.
Peter
then goes on and explains to Clement: “But if any one shall wish to speak otherwise,
he also shall be able to produce proofs from them at his pleasure. For the
Scriptures say all manner of things, that no one of those who inquire
ungratefully may find the truth, but simply what he wishes to find, the truth
being reserved…” -- i.e., reserved for who? For the disciple who
possesses the wisdom to comprehend that there is only One Source of Truth, and a
faithful believer must learn the correct meaning
of the scriptures from the Shepherd and True Prophet. Whenever carnal man is confronted with higher truth and reality, he immediately becomes offended and rejects what has been presented to him. He will straight away respond: What do you mean that I cannot discern the truth? He will oppose the idea that he can read a passage of scripture and see something entirely different and at times opposite from what another man sees, and both perceptions of what is written will not only possess an element of truth, but these opposing and often opposite perceptions of what the scriptures state will have been ordained directly by the Hand of God! What this means is that it is the Lord Himself that ordains the Jehovah's Witness doctrine that Jesus is not God -- and it is again the Lord Himself that ordains the Evangelical Christian positions that embrace the doctrine of the Trinity. The problem is that while carnal man searches for what is true, what he fails to realize is that Truth can only be found when his mind is able to function at a level beyond that of his natural organic physical state of being. When Martin Luther, the father of the Reformation, was confronted with these paradoxical truth which are contained in the Bible itself, he predictively reacted in the typical manner of carnal man, and rejected over two thirds of the New Testament. Because he was unable to explain the many contradictions he saw in the scriptures that he championed, he went as far as to condemn the exercise of the intellect, the use of reason, and the exploration of the mind: “Reason”, writes Luther, “is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but - more frequently than not - struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes). Why was Luther so troubled by the free exercise of the intellect? In the first place, Luther was a priest of the Roman Catholic Church -- which meant that his thinking and perception of life was so diametrically opposed to the mindset of the Essene/Ebionite authors of our scriptures, that he was simply unable to envision the true spiritual essence of the written word. In order to understand what transpired, and what caused the foundational flaw of the post-Reformation Church that remains with us today, we must understand that the theology of Luther and the Middle-Age Reformers was reactionary, and thus was born in opposition to the Church of Rome.
Once
Christianity became the Religion of the Roman Empire, and under the guise of the
teachings of The Way, a new form of Paganism was born, the common believer was
no longer permitted to even read the scriptures.
Even after the process of doctrinal purification where the removal of
offending biblical texts was completed, there was still too great a difference
in what Jesus had taught, and what the Church had become under Pagan Rome, to
permit the common believer to have access to the scriptures.
For over a thousand years it became a crime, punishable by death, for the
common people to read the Bible. In
fact, the first man to translate the scriptures into English, William Tyndal,
was burned at the stake for such a grave offence.
With
the invention of the printing press, and the publication of the Guttenburg
Bible, a spiritual revolution had begun.
Suddenly, it was within the power of everyone that could read to view the
Word of God for themselves. What
they saw astonished them. In
the words of Luther: ”The papists took the invocation of saints from the
heathen, who divided God into numberless images and idols, and ordained to each
his particular office and worth”.
Thus, in the twelve hundred years since the Church came under the rule of
Rome, what had emerged out of the Dark Ages was a totally heathen religion that
had very little in common with New Covenant concepts.
”The
Jews crucified Christ with words”, wrote Luther,
"but the Gentiles
have crucified him with works and deeds”.
From a spiritual perspective, Christianity had reached its darkest
moment. In every way the
church had become a secular government that succeeded that of the Roman Emperors.
In place of the emperor, there was the pope.
In place of the legislators, there was the cardinals and bishops.
What
Christians fail to realize today, is that it was during the period of the
Reformation -- rather than the first century -- that the modern Church was born.
The framers of the new religion were at a great disadvantage.
Their foremost challenge was to rid the religion of Jesus from the (Christian)
Paganism that had ruled the Church for over a thousand years.
For guidance, they had translations of the Latin Vulgate, which had
become perhaps the most corrupt Bible in Christian history.
Thus, the new religion was conceived with a number of really serious
fatal flaws.
With
the advent of Protestantism, a new biblical mindset was born.
Luther, Calvin and the many other reformers saw the error of the Roman
Church as being their deviation from the scriptures.
Within Protestantism, then, every theology that was associated with the
new church sought to affirm that it was in harmony with the Bible.
The term “biblical theology” was born, which declared that
since the church was founded on the teachings of the apostles, the authority for
the church's teachings must be derived solely from the Bible.
In
the new religion of Luther and Calvin, the text of the Bible could have only one
meaning. Their reasoning was
that the words which the Holy Spirit dictated were spoken for the people to read
and understand. In the words
of Luther: [The Holy Spirit’s] “words cannot have more than one, and that
the very simplest sense, which we call the literal, ordinary, natural sense...
We are not to say that the Scriptures or the Word of God have more than one
meaning... We are not to introduce any... metaphorical, figurative sayings into
any text of Scripture, unless the particulars of the words compel us to do so...
For if anyone at all were to have power to depart from the pure, simple words
and to make inferences and figures of speech wherever he wished... then] no one
could reach any certain conclusions about... any article of faith”.
In the words of Calvin: “The doctrine which we have put forward has
been drawn from the pure Word of God, and rests upon its authority”.
In
their very literal and historical approach to the Bible, the reformers emphasized a hermeneutical principle
which has commonly come to be called “the analogy of faith”.
Basically, the analogy of faith principle affirms the need for a biblical
standard -- and the biblical standard used were certain passages in the Epistles
of Paul which, according to Luther and Calvin, supposedly set forth biblical
teachings with the greatest clarity.
In defining the principle of the analogy of faith, Luther wrote: “It
is the attribute of Holy Scripture that it interprets itself by passages and
places which belong together, and can only be understood by a rule of faith”.
The key phrase here are the words “rule of faith”, which to
Luther and Calvin becomes the subjective beliefs of the theologian himself.
In effect, this undermined their whole system of biblical theology they
sought to establish.
In
elaborating this principle of rule of faith Luther wrote: “Every word [of
scripture] should be allowed to stand in its natural meaning, and that should
not be abandoned unless faith forces us to it”. What Luther was saying was that everything in scripture
must conform to the “rule of faith”.
Ultimately, what this means is that
all scripture must be interpreted through the filter of church doctrine.
In his statement made in his Disputation thesis, De fide, September 11th,
1535, Luther affirmed that: “Scripture is to be understood not contrary to,
but in accordance with Christ. Therefore,
Scripture is to be referred to him, or else we do not have what represents
Scripture... If it is to be a question of whether Christ or the Law is to be
dismissed, we say, Law is to be dismissed, not Christ”.
Commenting
on these statements of Luther, Ebeling writes that: "Luther was no
biblicist... No biblicist speaks like that... Luther] had not thoroughly thought
[the hermeneutical problem] through from the methodological point of view and
therefore the methodology of theology in general remained obscure in decisive
questions of fundamental importance” (G. Ebeling, The Meaning
of’Biblical Theology, [London: SCM, 1963] 82).
Because
all scripture had to conform to his doctrine of faith in Christ from an
historical perspective, much of the
New Testament was rejected. Because
James, the brother of Jesus, opposed Paul on the issue of the need for faith and
works, rather than faith alone, the Epistle of James was dismissed.
Rejected also were the synoptic gospels Matthew, Mark and Luke, and the
Epistle to the Hebrews. The
objectionable books were put at the end of his New Testament, and in his
introduction to James it read: [This book] “cannot be defended against
[its] applying to works the sayings of Moses in Genesis 15, which speaks only of
Abraham’s faith, and not of his works, as St. Paul shows in Romans 4...
Therefore, I cannot put him among the chief books”. To sum it up Luther writes: “St. John’s Gospel,
and his first epistle, St. Paul’s epistles, especially those to the Romans, to
the Galatians, and to the Ephesians, and St. Peter’s first epistle - these are
the books which show you Christ and teach everything which is needful and
blessed for you to know even if you don’t see or even hear any other book...
Wherefore, St. James epistle is a true epistle of straw compared with them, for
it contains nothing of an evangelical nature”.
By
suppressing these other gospels and epistles, Luther’s theology became only a
mere fraction of what was truly needed to grasp the complete meaning of the
scriptures. Luther and
Calvin’s theology was at opposite ends of the spectrum from the requirement of
repenting through change -- and the process of “opening and unloosing
the mind”. In fact, the
theology of “rule of faith” literally meant to close and seal up the
mind in the adherence to a very narrow church doctrine.
This conclusion is confirmed in what the Lutherin Matthaeus Flacius wrote
about the analogy of faith: “Every understanding and exposition of
Scripture is to be in agreement with the faith. Such [agreement] is, so to
speak, the norm or limit of a sound faith, that we may not be thrust over the
fence into the abyss of anything, either by a storm from without or by an attack
from within (Rom. 12:6). For
everything that is said concerning Scripture, or on the basis of Scripture, must
be in agreement with all that the catechism declares or that is taught by the
articles of faith” (Key to the Scriptures). What was the catechism? The articles of faith? Nothing more than manmade doctrines and limitations which were placed upon the thinking of the reader so they would remain faithful to church doctrine. Thus, Luther and the Protestant Reformers brought the error of the Sadducees and Pharisees to new and even greater heights. Christians were not permitted to use the gift of reason -- and all manner of belief had to conform strictly to the catechism of the church.
What
neither Luther or Calvin could have known, is that has been confirmed in the discovery of the
Dead Sea Scrolls -- i.e., that the Gospel of John is arguably the most Gnostic
of the New Testament accounts of Jesus. This means that John was written by Jewish Gnostics,
for Jewish Gnostics -- and as with all Gnostic texts, the true meaning of the scriptures are beyond the
understanding of one who reads the literal word in accordance with Luther's
catechism and articles of faith.
One
could almost hear the Church Father Origen saying to Luther: “What man of
sense will agree with the statement that the first, second and third days in
which the evening is named and the morning, were without sun, moon and stars,
and the first day without a heaven”.
Origen would explain to him that the disciple is supposed to perceive
that such a thing could not literally happen, and search to the depth of the
scriptures to find the deeper meaning.
“What man is found such an idiot as to suppose that God planted
trees in paradise in Eden”, he questions.
“I believe that every man must hold these things for images”,
Origen would say, “under which the hidden sense lies concealed”.
If
Luther and Calvin could sit but for a moment at the feet of the Apostle Peter
and ask him about understanding scripture, Peter would speak to them about the
story of Adam and the Garden of Eden: “How, then had he still need to
partake of a tree, that he might know what is good and what is evil, if he was
commanded not to eat of it? But
this senseless men believe, who think that a reasonless beast was more powerful
than the God who made these things” (Clementine Homillies). Senseless men he calls those who read, believe, and
look no further than the written word.
In
the case of St. Augustine, both Calvin and Luther adopted his theology of
predestination -- a biblical doctrine that they could not even begin to
understand without the opening of their minds to the deeper meaning of scripture
-- and yet neither heeded Augustine’s words when he said: “Thus no
reasonable person would believe under any circumstances that the feet of the
Lord were anointed with precious ointment by the women in the manner of
lecherous and desolate men whose banquets we despise”, writes St.
Augustine (De Doctrina Christiana).
Because
of their censorship and narrow understanding of the scriptures, Luther, and
especially Calvin, fell into such an illegitimate understanding of God, that Christendom
has to this day yet to emerge from the abyss of darkness which was imposed upon
the church. It has been said that unworthy ideas of God result in
unworthy forms of worship -- and because carnal man does not know the laws which
govern his life, he invents them. Because
neither Luther or Calvin were able to grasp the laws which govern life, and they
held many unworthy ideas about God, they totally undermined the very fabric of
the new religion in their misunderstanding of Paul’s verse in Romans where he
says: “Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to
make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?” (Rom 9:21 NKJ).
Thus, in Calvin’s words: “God foreordained, for His own glory and
the display of His attributes of mercy and justice, a part of the human race,
without any merit of their own, to eternal salvation, and another part, in just
punishment of their sin, to eternal damnation”.
Is
the physical world the source of life? Einstein
experienced shock when he first came into contact with the new reality of
atomic physics, and wrote in his autobiography:
“All my attempts to adapt the
theoretical foundation of physics to this [new type of] knowledge failed
completely. It was as if
the ground had been pulled out from under one, with no firm foundation to be
seen anywhere, upon which one could have built”.
In much the same fashion, the European physicist Niels Bohr stated that
“…The great extension of our
experience in recent years has brought to light the insufficiency of our
simple mechanical conceptions and, as a consequence, has shaken the foundation
on which the customary interpretation of observation was based.”
These “…mechanical
conceptions” make reference to Darwin and the theory of evolution. In his 1951 textbook on quantum theory, Bohm offered some interesting speculations on the analogies between quantum processes and thought processes, thus carrying further the celebrated statement made by the astronomer James Jeans two decades earlier: “Today there is a wide measure of agreement… that the stream of knowledge is heading towards a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine”; and the statement by astronomer Arthur Eddington: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff”. More recently, cyberneticist David Foster described “an intelligent universe” whose apparent concreteness is generated by cosmic data from an unknowable, organized source. The holographic theory says that: “…our brains mathematically construct hard reality by interpreting frequencies from a dimension transcending time and space. The brain is a hologram, interpreting a holographic universe.” What is the impact of these findings of modern science? The reality that is being conveyed is that what we perceive as solid physical matter, is not solid at all, and is being seen in this manner because our brains interpret that frequency to make what we see appear concrete. Moreover, what it also means is that we perceive only a fractional part of Creation, because our brains, which by virtue of the fact of their physical nature, can only detect frequencies that are within the spectrum that coincides with this very limited realm of Creation. In the same way that in order to be effective, an antenna must possess the physical characteristics that enables it to receive a certain range of the frequencies that the device (broadcast radio, TV, CB radio, short wave, wireless phone, etc.) is intended to operate within, our physical mind and bodies are designed to function within a certain spectrum of Creation -- and this is predicated by the fact that our physical nature is composed of the elements that are of this world. Just as important is the fact that we only use less than ten percent of our potential of mind which corresponds to the ten percent (physical) spectrum of frequencies with which we interact with in this world, because very few of us have ever trained and developed our minds to go beyond this natural organic limitation. Once we begin to comprehend this fact -- and strive to overcome the three-dimensional barrier of this world -- only then can we begin to comprehend the constant biblical assertion that carnal man is blind to higher reality. That the Bible continually warns the reader that man in his natural organic state of mind neither understands what he sees with his physical eyes -- and perceives only a very limited perception of reality -- is easily confirmed in the above statements by the modern scientist. What this equates to is conformation of the many truths that biblical holy-men and prophets have invariably declared and warned us about with respect to the fact that what we see is not concrete -- and what we see with our physical eyes appears to us as solid matter, only because our physical brains are wired in such a way so as to interpret it in this manner. Fundamentally this means that what we see when we look out into the world is a very limited perception of reality, and equates to nothing more than the same ten percent of our potential of mind that we are limited to using by nature -- i.e., men and women who use less than ten percent of their potential of mind are only capable of perceiving less than ten percent of the totality of Creation and the world in which they dwell. Yet, to our own demise, we fail to embrace the reality that men such as Martin Luther, Darwin, our many scholars and philosophers throughout the history of the world, the people who teach our children, the political and religious leaders who convey to us their very incomplete and limited religious doctrines, quasi-scientific theories, and philosophies about life, all have failed to overcome the very flaw in human reasoning that caused the Apostle Paul to both condemn the wisdom of this world as foolishness, and warn us that the people of the simple faith do not comprehend the Spiritual Gospel of Christ! Yet, we ignore the wisdom of the Apostle, and erroneously believe that man can attain to higher understanding while still using less than ten percent of his potential of mind -- a ten percent that only detects a very limited and suppressed spectrum of the totality of Creation. The problem is that to recognize the great dilemma that confronts man is not enough -- only a truly Great Soul possess the vision and experience to lead others to the Kingdom of Light that lies beyond the barriers of this world -- and when Constantine and his forces of darkness snuffed out the lives of the true disciples of Yeshua (Joshua/Jesus), all of mankind has paid the price! In the first two chapters of Paul’s First Epistle to the Corinthians the Apostle very clearly teaches that there is the “testimony” of Christ that is preached to the multitudes of people, and the “mysteries” of the Gospel that cannot even be contemplated by those believers who have yet to be transformed by the Spirit, and are still of a natural organic state of mind. While this reality was difficult for men such as Martin Luther and Darwin to envision, this is no longer the case in our present time. Luckily, our modern scientific advances have provided us with great insight into understanding what Paul was attempting to convey to the mind of the still carnal believer. Once we are able to comprehend that we are dwelling in a non-mechanical “…holographic universe” that is now being described as being of an intelligent nature -- i.e., and appears to us in every way as a great thought -- only then can we begin to truly understand the universal plight of man that Jesus came to free us from. Throughout this web site I tend to freely employ the terms Satan, Lucifer, Prince of Darkness, and god of this world. That these terms can be used so universally, and are often portrayed in an all-pervading manner, is simply beyond the ability of the average person to comprehend. Yet, what the Bible portrays as Satan -- both collectively and as a singular being who opposes the Heavenly Kingdom -- can more appropriately be comprehended as the universal power or force which bonds and shackles us to this world through the organic physical body/vessels we are presently residing in. If we are to use an analogy or comparison, Satan can thus best be understood as the gravity of mind that holds our thinking to this world. In the same way that gravity keeps our bodies attached to the surface of the earth, the satanic force the Bible warns us of keeps our thoughts attached to the physical. Moreover, because we dwell in an “…intelligent universe” which attempts to fight off all threats to its existence in the manner of our own physical bodies fighting off an invading germ or disease, any time we attempt to move into harmony with our indwelling soul or spirit, the physical world not only inhibits us, but will garner its own forces to overcome us in the manner of the body producing antibodies to combat a virus or foreign microbe. It is for this reason that the Apostle Paul wrote of the war that rages in his flesh that opposes the law of the spirit -- and that all those who are of the flesh will die because they cannot live in accordance with the spirit. While the modern Christian will passionately and vehemently oppose this statement on the basis of an incomplete understanding of Paul’s doctrine of faith -- i.e., saying, they have received the promise of being saved -- the Apostle very clearly warned that unless the believer begins to do the Will of the Lord, and follow in his footsteps into the Kingdom, then they have neither faith or belief, and they are what the Apostle himself portrays as counterfeit Christians. The problem is that our whole perception of life is built upon a great error. We have permitted ourselves to become imbued with a Darwinist mindset that has alienated us from our very source of being. The implications of our post-Darwinist, modern emerging scientific view, means that the Essene-Ebionite vision that Jesus taught is correct, and what we perceive with our bodily physical senses is not only in direct relation to the ten percent limitation of mind that we functionally use, but is in fact only an illusion and symbol of man’s higher reality. The problem is that the person who has developed his spiritual abilities that permit him to sense these other parallel realms that are beyond the perception of carnal man – i.e., the spiritual holy man/woman who is often referred to as a mystic -- the spiritual Christian/Jew who can best be defined as the scientist and explorer of the religious world -- is generally not listened to by the great masses of people who remain sense bound in their perception of life. Yet, the great truth that we fail to recognize today is the fact that the modern scientist who has evolved his thinking out of the Darwinist dark ages, now shares the plight of the religious visionary/mystic, in that both are equally ignored by those who champion their cause in the world. In a February 1979 Psychology Today interview with brain scientist Karl Pribram, the world which he attempted to describe confirmed the vision witnessed by the Hebrew prophet and confirmed in the Bible: “It isn’t that the world of appearances is wrong; it isn’t that there aren’t objects out there, at one level of reality. It’s that if you penetrate through and look at the universe with a holographic system, you arrive at a different reality, one that can explain things that have hitherto remained scientifically inexplicable: paranormal phenomena… synchronicities, the apparently meaningful coincidence of events”. What Karl Pribram was attempting to warn us is that the universal voice of the prophet throughout the ages was correct -- that what we perceive as solid objects is not solid at all -- and they appear to us as concrete objects for no other reason than because our physical senses cause them to be seen as being solid. This fact is not only true, but it is conformation that in many instances, those in the past who were condemned as religious heretics, were not the heretics -- but rather, the genuine visionaries who were able to perceive the true depth of both the material world, as well as the religious teachings that enable man to overcome the obstacle which confronts and binds him to this deceptive physical reality. Now that science has itself evolved beyond the very limited perception of men such as Darwin, it has become possible for us to begin to perceive that what scientist Karl Pribram was attempting to explain with respect to what is continually presented throughout the scriptures, and is very clearly portrayed in the Gospel of Luke: “So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way” (Luke 4:28-30 NKJ). What Jesus did was simply withdraw the presence of his physical body from being able to be detected by the carnal minds of the men who were attempting to kill him -- i.e., he altered the frequency that he emanated -- and simply walked right through the midst of them to safety. This ability to retract his physical bodily form from this world is again seen in the witness of Judas in the Nazirene Gospel when Judas was questioned respecting the consequences of his betrayal, and asked whether he believed Jesus will be put to death, where we see him respond: "No, for He will do some mighty work to deliver Himself out of their hands, even as when they of the synagogue in Capernaum rose up against Him, and brought Him to the brow of the hiss that they might throw Him down headlong, and did He not pass safely through their midst? He will surely escape them now also, and proclaim Himself openly and set up the Kingdom whereof He spoke". The problem is that carnal believers of the simple faith lost the ability to perceive the parallel dimensions of Creation that Jesus spoke of as the Kingdom, and the theology of Luther was then built upon the spiritual ignorance of the Pagan Church of Rome. Thus, while we claim to believe, we in fact dwell in the abyss of darkness. Once we begin to understand this greater reality of Creation that has been revealed to us by the modern scientist, we start to realize that the same obstacle that has existed throughout the ages of the past continues to plague and limit us to this very day. In his Preface to Stalking The Wild Pendulum, by Itzhak Bentov, William A. Tiller, Materials Sciences Department, Stanford University writes: “The present scientific establishment has grown somewhat fossilized by its current world picture and is locked into a view of reality that has outlived its usefulness. It has begun to limit mankind’s growth and has so increased its sense of specialization, separateness, materiality, and mechanical computer-like functioning that it is in real danger of self-extermination”. Yet this fossilized science is still being promoted among our school children -- it remains as the founding principle upon which our culture is based -- it is being used to inhibit both religion and freedom in our present-day culture -- and has greatly limited the ability of man to function in his true multidimensional and spiritual reality. The text of Itzhak Bentov’s book itself reveals that: “The quantum theory asserts that there is no way one can measure some sets of things, like momentum and position, together very accurately... because the consciousness of the experimenter interacts with the experiment itself. Therefore, it becomes possible that the attitude of the experimenter must also influence the outcome of any particular experiment”. Thus, we begin to contemplate the interrelatedness of mind and matter and the fact that our whole politically correct culture has become an obstacle to the advancement of mankind. In the very narrow linear perception of the “fossilized” world-view that is taught in science class in our schools today, the idea that the mind of the experimenter can impact the results of the experiment itself is simply beyond the scope of understanding of those who attempt to teach science to our children. If everything we see is a detached, separate inanimate object, then we have no means to even contemplate how the mind of a person can affect the outcome of a given experiment? That there is an unseen connection between mind and matter, and man is able to consciously and unconsciously effect what we perceive as inanimate objects with his own patterns of thought, means that our present-day cultural and quasi-scientific perception of Creation itself is defective. Moreover, when religious people then attempt to interpret the scriptures through the filter of their culturally flawed vision and inherent carnal understanding, it is impossible for even sincere believers to begin to perceive the true depth and revelation of the Word of God! The problem is that we can never start to embrace man’s true reality, until we begin to acknowledge and recognize that what we see is only a fragment of the whole picture of any given object. Robert Jastrow, an astrophysicist who heads NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, pointed out that the big bang is not exactly an explanation of cause. He is quoted in The Aquarian Conspiracy: “If a scientist really examines the implications, he would be traumatized. As usual, when the mind is faced with trauma, it reacts by ignoring the implications - in science this is called ‘refusing to speculate’ - or by trivializing the origin of the world by calling it the Big Bang, as if the universe were merely a firecracker”.
Mr.
Jastrow then continues and states:
“Consider the enormousness of the problem: Science has proved that the
universe exploded into being at a certain moment.
It asks, what cause produced this effect?
Who or what put the matter and energy into the universe?
Was the universe created out of nothing or was it gathered together out
of pre-existing materials? And
science cannot answer these questions... It is not a matter of another year,
another decade of work, another measurement, or another theory.
At this moment it seems as though science will never be able to raise
the curtain on the mystery of creation”. In the realization that traditional scientific inquiry can never provide the answers to life, thoughtful physicists in greater number have begun to notice the curious parallels between their own findings and ancient mystical descriptions of reality. These similarities were pointed out in the book, The Tao Of Physics, by Fritjof Capra, and The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav. Zukav’s book takes its title from the Chinese expression for physics, wu li, which he translates as “patterns of organic energy”, and writes: “Bell’s theorem not only suggests that the world is quite different than it seems, it demands it. Something very exciting is happening. Physicists have ‘proved’ rationally that our rational ideas about the world in which we live are profoundly deficient”. Bell’s theorem, which was proposed in 1964 by J.S. Bell, a physicist working in Switzerland, was first confirmed experimentally in 1972. Physicist Henry Stapp, in a 1975 federal report called it the most “profound discovery of science”. Bell’s theorem succeeds in exhibiting the bizarre nature of the subatomic world. Experiments show that if paired particles which are identical twins in their polarity fly apart, and the polarity of one is changed by an experimenter, the polarity of the other particle changes instantaneously. Even though they appear to us as separate, the particles remain mysteriously connected regardless of the fact that there is no physical connection. The problem is that the mind of man in it’s natural organic state is simply incapable of perceiving the far-reaching ramifications of this great truth -- and even less prepared to comprehend the results of the intertwining connections that are maintained not only between individuals and groups of people, but between the past, the present, and future. Modern social re-engineers have deemed the biblical lifestyle of marital fidelity as being antiquated and outmoded -- but is it? Even many supposed religious authorities have questioned the validity of the biblical authors -- and have in recent years especially attacked what they view as the extreme and outmoded morality of the Apostle Paul. These quasi-religious authorities not only suggest, but even demand that we interpret the Bible and our church doctrines to make them compatible with modern cultural thought.
Is
Paul's theology out-of-date, as many members of the liberal clergy assert today? Or
did he possess a vision of this material world that we are only now beginning
to comprehend? If Bell’s “profound
discovery of science” is applied to the relationship of husband and wife
and the Divine Pattern of Creation, then sexual partners not only remain
connected, but continue to strongly influence each other throughout the rest
of their lives. Once we add
in the teachings of Hebrew/Christian Mysticism that God can only be realized
by men and women who have become “One
Flesh”, and overcome their own states of masculine/feminine division,
only then we can begin to realize why our present promiscuous lifestyle has
been deemed the pollution of the flesh by the prophets who authored the Bible!
Were the authors of the Bible narrow-minded old men who feared sexual variety, expression and bliss? Or, are we merely so immersed in the sensual excesses of our culture, that we are unable to perceive the very (satanic) force that enslaves us. In their elevated vision of the world and Creation, the authors of the scriptures perceived and observed great truths that the majority of people who see only a very limited spectrum of the frequencies of Creation are blind to? How can the two become “One Flesh” and enter into a state of total harmony, when both Bell’s theorem and the prophets of old agree that we remain intimately connected to all those with whom we engage in sexual congress? Moreover, Bell has proven that those we have engaged in sexual relations in the past, continue to impact and color our thinking throughout our lives. What
are the ramifications of our ignorance with respect to the condemnation of the
biblical prophets and seers?
If, then, we are
truly the advocates of freedom and choice that we proclaim to be today,
shouldn’t we make this knowledge which has been confirmed by the modern
scientist, available to our children when we teach
them sex education in school? Shouldn’t
we convey to them the reality that if they engage in sex with a variety of
partners as is being advocated today, that they may never be able to enter
into a marriage in the genuine biblical sense, and they will never be able to
become “One Flesh” with their spouse?
Quite
contrary to the Darwinist perception of Creation which continues to be taught
to our children today, the only explanation for Bell’s theorem that can
possibly be arrived at is the realization that the particles remain connected
in a realm beyond the three-dimensions in which we presently dwell -- a realm
that is beyond our physical vision.
What does this mean to us? It
not only tells us that Darwin’s perception of Creation was in grave error,
but is confirmation that what we see with our physical senses is merely a very
limited and partial view of reality -- an extended reality we fail to see
because of the impairment of our perception of the world -- which extended
reality is in fact the controlling force in our lives.
Ultimately, what this means is that at best, we possess merely the
illusion of freedom and choice. If
it is true that visionaries of the past who we have ignorantly portrayed as
narrow-minded, sexually frustrated old men, took the position they did because
they saw the result and impact of the heathen, hedonistic and self-indulgent
promiscuous lifestyle of the people of the Nations, then the joke is truly on
us when we condemn what we do not understand!
Moreover, the liberal clergy who preach their doctrine of sexual liberation
and cultural tolerance, Only when we begin to truly comprehend the far-reaching aspects of this profound truth, are we able to understand the many warnings of both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Where the people of the simple faith imagine that God keeps a running tally with regard to a person’s deeds and miss-deeds in their life in which they will later be judged, the truth and reality of the scriptures is better represented in the above words of Gary Zukav when he wrote: “Bell’s theorem not only suggests that the world is quite different than it seems, it demands it... Physicists have ‘proved’ rationally that our rational ideas about the world in which we live are profoundly deficient”. And when we rationally analyze these words of the modern scientist, don’t we also have to admit that the Bible continually states exactly the same thing? It is important that we comprehend the reality which is presented to us in the parable of the prodigal son where we see that regardless of the fact that the son was suffering at the hands of the citizen of the far country, the father could not help the son until he began to make the journey home. What this means is that so long as we remain attached to the thinking and culture of this world -- view the world through a quasi-Darwinist mindset -- and limit our perception of the scriptures to that of Martin Luther -- we will remain lost in this world which is portrayed as the "outer darkness". When Jesus commanded us to "repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand", the proper Greek to English translation would more faithfully convey the thought: "open and unloose the mind, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand". This is exactly what the Essenes-Ebionites, the Gnostic Christians, and the Hebrew holy men and women strived to do, and this fact is clearly evident when we begin to throw off the shackles of Luther and traditional church doctrine, and begin to embrace all those many biblical passages which Christians continually ignore. One of the great truths which we fail to understand today, is the reality that the Lord permits the counterfeit church in this world to preach a partial doctrine of truth -- i.e., the "milk" of the gospel (1 Cor 3:2), and this preaching of the good news is necessary in order for the Word to reach the lost sheep of this world. Thus, the Lord permits the church built by men's hands to continue, in order to guide his lost sheep into the Kingdom. We ignore the words of the Bible where it teaches us that every person, and every event and occurrence in this world is ordained for a higher reason than what carnal man comprehends. That God uses both the evil and the counterfeit for a higher purpose is seen in the words: "And as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive" (Gen 50:20 NAS). The truly faithful believers who purify themselves as they strive to walk in The Way, are not dependent upon others to teach them, because they learn the Truth directly from God. Paul warns the Gentile church that it was God who hardened the hearts of the Jews, in order to bring the Gospel to the people of the Nations, as seen in the words: "After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob" (Rom 11:24-26 NIV). Thus, the reality of the words: "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30 NIV). Quoting the Apostle Paul (Rom 11:17-24), the second century Church Father Clement of Alexandria wrote regarding the Gentile converts in relation to the Messianic Jewish Congregation: "‘Now the wild olive is inserted into the fatness of the olive, ‘and is indeed of the same species as the cultivated olives. For the graft uses as soil the tree in which it is engrafted.’" And yet, this is no longer true today. It is important to recognize that both the Apostle Paul and Clement of Alexandria are making reference to a certain foundation that is approved by God, and it is this biblical/Israelite foundation which is being referred to as the "cultivated olive" that the Gentiles were grafted into. Why was the corruption of the New Covenant permitted? Because the heathen and Pagan mind of the Gentile convert was simply unable to grasp the spiritual essence of either the teachings of The Way, the Bible, or the very multidimensional reality of Creation. It was therefore necessary to dumb-down the religion of the simple faith which Paul referred to as the "milk" of the gospel -- permit the written word of the scriptures to be re-written so they could be received by the Gentile-heathen mindset -- in order to make the Word of God reach beyond the borders of the Nation of Israel, and be established throughout the world. At a later date the scriptures could easily be re-established with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Nag Hammadi Library, copies of New Covenant scriptures that were hidden away in the manner of the Nazirene Gospel, as well as other libraries of scriptures which have yet to be dug up and found. The problem is that in our partial understanding, we are unable to perceive and comprehend the manner in which the Hand of God moves in the lives of men, because we are missing a necessary teaching of Jesus that conveyed the long struggle of the prodigal son in his return to the Kingdom of the Father. An important element of original New Covenant teachings that was removed by the Roman Church was the knowledge of the three-fold nature of man -- i.e., the pre-existent soul and spirit -- and the all important Keys of Knowledge which Jesus accused the carnal Jews of throwing away. In Part II of this document, I referred to these teachings as the Bill of Rights element of the teachings of The Way. In order to get a better understanding of the manner in which these Keys and the three-fold nature of man must be used, lets examine a number of translations of the same verse at Luke 11:52 where Jesus states to the carnal Jews: “How terrible for you teachers of the Law! You have kept the key that opens the door to the house of knowledge; you yourselves will not go in, and you stop those who are trying to go in!” (TEV) -- "How terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you hide the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering" (NLT) -- "Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering" (NIV). In each instance the "house of knowledge" or the "Kingdom" is spoken of as an event that the teachers of the law should have already accomplished -- but they did not -- and they hindered others who were themselves attempting to "...enter the Kingdom". This element of time and physical position/location with respect to Jesus' teachings about the Kingdom is of the utmost importance to the modern Christian. More importantly is the fact that it is not enough to possess the Key of Knowledge in the manner of the carnal Jews -- i.e., in order to gain access, one must know how and where to apply these Sacred Keys that opens the gate to the Kingdom. There is absolutely nothing in the above words of Jesus that portray the idea that the Kingdom is entered when we die. From a modern Christian perspective, Jesus condemned the religious leaders of his day because they had not yet used the Key of Knowledge to enter the Kingdom, and because they had not themselves entered the Kingdom, they hindered others who were themselves seeking the Kingdom. If we ask: Did Jesus truly mean that we must open the door to the Kingdom within us in order to be saved? In the writing known as the Recognitions of Clement, who was himself a disciple of Peter, St. Clement details Peter's remembrance of Jesus' teachings with respect to the Key of Knowledge: "In like manner, also during the last period of his teaching, he wages war against the scribes and Pharisees, charging them with evil deeds and unsound doctrine, and with hiding the Key of Knowledge which they had handed down to them from Moses, by which the gate of the Heavenly Kingdom might be opened." This important New Covenant teaching is a prime example of why the Bible, even in its present corrupted condition, is still sufficient to bring believers to Christ. What does it say? In the first place it conveys that each of us is a good deal more than the physical form we perceive and use while in this world. If the Kingdom is indeed within us, and we must use the Key of Knowledge by turning the Law of Moses within ourselves in the endeavor to open the door to this indwelling higher reality, then we must re-evaluate everything we think we know about ourselves, the scriptures, Jesus and Creation. Thus, the wisdom of the Apostle when he warned the believers of the simple faith: "And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know" (1 Cor 8:2 NKJ). If
this concept of an inner Kingdom is true, and is in fact the very essence of
Jesus' teachings which was altered in the endeavor to build a secular
institutionalized Church in the fourth century, then we can begin to comprehend
the more enlightened manner in which the Essenes and the original followers of
Jesus interpreted scripture in relation to the scribes and
Pharisees. In the same way that man is a great
deal more than what he appears to be physically, spiritual men of wisdom have
always heeded the warning at Proverbs 22:20 where the scriptures reveal to us: “Have
not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge” (KJV).
One only has to check the meaning of the Hebrew text where it is here
translated “excellent things” to understand that the word means a
triangle, three, or threefold revelation of counsel and knowledge.
Thus, the Word of God is then a threefold revelation that can only be
perceived by those who, in Jesus' own words, possess the eyes to see and ears to
hear and understand the inner meaning of the Word that is beyond the natural
comprehension of man.
It
is of the utmost importance for us to recognize that this threefold nature of
the scriptures merely follows the pattern of all things in life, and is so
paramount in our search for truth and understanding that the Church Father
Origen wrote that it is in fact the very Key of Knowledge that Jesus accused the
Jewish sects of the Sadducees and Pharisees of throwing away.
A most profound statement of Origen is found in his famed writing De
Principiis where he writes: “But all the narrative portion, relating either
to the marriages, or to the begetting of the children, or to battles of
different kinds, or to any other histories whatever, what else can they be
supposed to be, save the forms and
figures of hidden and sacred
things? As men, however, make little effort to exercise their intellect, or
imagine that they possess knowledge before they really learn, the consequence is
that they never begin to have knowledge; or if there be no want of a desire, at
least, nor of an instructor, and if divine knowledge be sought after, as it
ought to be, in a religious and Holy Spirit, and in the hope that many points
will be opened up by the revelation of God -- since to human sense they are
exceedingly difficult and obscure -- then, perhaps, he who seeks in such a
manner will find what it is lawful to discover”.
If it is our desire to possess what we can call genuine
knowledge -- to begin to perceive the Mysteries of God which the Apostle said
was beyond the natural perception of man -- and we want to know anything of any
real value -- i.e., who we are, and what is our true relationship to both Jesus
and our Creator God that Jesus taught was our Father -- then it is of the
highest importance that we contemplate what we see in the above words by the
Church Father Origen. Of a
paramount importance is for us to closely analyze the statement by Origen that
is in absolute conflict with the quasi-Darwinist mindset with which we have been
imbued with since childhood from our modern-day culture.
This is seen in the words that few men even “…imagine
that they possess knowledge before they really learn”.
Ask the question and ponder the ramifications: How is it that we could
possess knowledge before we even begin to learn?
Moreover, how can it be said that because we fail to recognize this fact,
that “…the consequence is that they never begin to have knowledge”?
While the average reader may simply
skim over these words, the ramifications of their wisdom is profound!
More importantly is the fact that it should be clear to the reader is
that Origen saw life from a totally different perspective than we do today.
What we must decide as we analyze his words is if the Church Father
Origen is representative of a more pure biblical vision of the meaning and
purpose of life -- and if it is, then we can easily begin to perceive why both
our modern-day churches and our culture has failed to manifest the higher reality that we
have sought. What Origen
conveys is that because we are looking at the picture of life in reverse of
man’s actual reality, that the words of the Apostle are completely relative to
us when he warned: “If any one imagines that he knows something, he does
not yet know as he ought to know” (1 Cor 8:2 RSV).
With respect to these statements we must ask why Origen
would state that: “…men, however, make little effort
to exercise their intellect”?
And stating with respect to the scriptures that: “…But all the narrative portion,
relating either to the marriages, or to the begetting of the children, or to
battles of different kinds, or to any other histories whatever, what else can
they be supposed to be, save the forms and figures of
hidden and sacred things”.
What Origen writes is that all those references to marriages, the
begetting of children, and the depiction of the many battles, has absolutely
nothing to do with historical events -- but rather, are “…the forms and
figures of hidden and sacred things”.
The problem is that in order to begin to understand the true meaning of
these sacred symbols and forms, we must begin to utilize those parts of our mind
that lie beyond the less than ten percent level which nature permits us to use.
Moreover, the key is found in the words: “…As men, however, make
little effort to exercise their intellect, or imagine that they possess
knowledge before they really learn, the consequence is that they never begin to
have knowledge; or if there be no want of a desire, at least, nor of an
instructor”.
What I will
demonstrate throughout this web site and associated book is that if we are to begin to truly “…exercise
our intellect”, and desire to learn in the presence of the only genuine “instructor”,
then we must reverse the quasi-Darwinist mindset with which we have been imbued,
and recognize the great truth that we do indeed “…possess knowledge
before we really [begin to] learn”.
Without our very astute recognition of the implications of these
all-important words as representing the very essence of New Covenant thought, we
will remain hopelessly carnal, and make little progress in our quest to
understand anything of any real value!
It is therefore of the greatest importance for us to recognize that what
Origen is very clearly stating, is that we already possess a source of knowledge
within us that was manifest at a time before we endeavored to begin the process
of learning in this life. This
in turn confirms the great truth and biblical assertion that, when we embrace
the doctrines of the teachers of this world who attempt to teach us in the
traditional manner of instruction, that we become disenfranchised from this
inner source of knowledge that each of us already possesses.
With
respect to the hidden soul and spiritual meaning of the scriptures, Origen then writes: “But
lest this difficulty perhaps should be supposed to exist only in the language of
the prophets, seeing the prophetic style is allowed by all to abound in figures
and enigmas, what do we find when we come to the Gospels? Is there not hidden
there also an inner, namely a divine sense, which is revealed by that grace
alone which he had received who said, ‘But we have the mind of Christ, that we
might know the things freely given to us by God. Which things also we speak, not
in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Spirit teacheth?’ And
if one now were to read the revelations which were made to John, how amazed
would he not be that there should be contained within them so great an amount of
hidden, ineffable mysteries, in which it is clearly understood, even by those
who cannot comprehend what is concealed, that something certainly is concealed.
And yet are not the Epistles of the Apostles, which seem to some to be plainer,
filled with meanings so profound, that by means of them, as by some small
receptacle, the clearness of incalculable light appears to be poured into those
who are capable of understanding the meaning of divine wisdom? And therefore,
because this is the case, and because there are many who go wrong in this life,
I do not consider that it is easy to pronounce, without danger, that any one
knows or understands those things, which, in order to be opened up, need the key
of knowledge; which key, the Savior declared, lay with those who were skilled in
the law”.
The
great truth that Origen conveys to us is that the scriptures are written in
symbols, figures and enigmas that can only be revealed to the reader by man’s
spiritual nature and the indwelling mind of Christ. And if we ask why the scriptures would be written in such a
manner? The answer is because
they are composed in accord with the universal genetic blueprint of Creation --
in order for the soul in search of Truth will observe the same pattern in the
scriptures that exists throughout all of life.
If
we were of an enlightened mind, and we could perceive the totality of everything
we see and experience, we would perceive that all of life in this realm is a
series of symbols, figures and enigmas that can only be perceived when we see
through the eyes of our soul and spiritual natures.
The universe is a great mind -- and everything we see is a symbol that
conveys a deeper thought to those who possess the eyes to see man’s spiritual
reality. Moreover, it is equally important for us to
recognize that, according to Origen, these Mysteries of the Gospel that we seek
today to understand can only be contemplated by those who possess the Key of
Knowledge. Origen then goes
on to say: “And here, although it is a digression, I think we
should inquire of those who assert that before the advent of the Savior there
was no truth among those who were engaged in the study of the law, how it could
be said by our Lord Jesus Christ that the keys of knowledge were with them, who
had the books of the prophets and of the law in their hands. For thus did He
speak: 'Woe unto you, ye teachers of the law, who have taken away the key of
knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them who wished to enter in ye
hindered'” (Origen quoting Luke 11:52).
These words of Origen should open
up a whole new avenue of reality that few of us whose thinking and mindset has
been cultured by our modern society has ever contemplated!
If both the scriptures and the life we are living is a series of symbols,
figures and enigmas that we must possess the Key of Knowledge to understand,
then our present limitation of mind has in fact been caused by our own inability to
use the same Key of Knowledge that unlocks the meaning of the scriptures, to
unlock the three-dimensional prison of flesh in which we presently dwell. Moreover, it is this same Key of Knowledge that when
properly applied in our lives, permits our minds to evolve out of the embryonic
state of natural man, into an Anointed (Christ) and Illumined Son of our
Heavenly Father -- who has, in the manner of the Prodigal Son, overcome this
world and returned Home to the Kingdom from which we originally emanated.
What Origen makes reference to is the very essence to the enigma of mind
that has confused and confounded all men in search of knowledge -- whether
philosophical, secular or religious -- throughout all the ages.
What this also means is that both
the Roman Church, as well as the modern-day intellectually elite, have all
underestimated the true depth of mind of the Hebrew holy men and women.
In view of the fact that many modern-day Jews are Atheist -- and even
Carl Marx himself was a Jewish Atheist -- it can be demonstrated that these
great thinkers and philosophical icons of our modern culture threw away the very
key to the essence of knowledge that they sought after.
From a Christian perspective, the
great truth that Origen conveys to us is the understanding that the Jews already
possessed the Key of Knowledge prior to the time of Jesus -- that those who
lived in the manner of the Essenes, who applied the Key of Knowledge, were the
people of the New Covenant prior to the physical birth of Jesus -- and because the
Sadducees and Pharisees failed to use this Key within themselves, and hindered
the people of the common (Jewish) faith who attempted to use the scriptures in
the manner that was intended, that for this reason Jesus condemned them as
counterfeit leaders and false instructors whose study of the law would remain
unfruitful. Why are these
words so important to us today? Because
the doctrines of the fourth-century Roman Church has in effect imbued us with
the same exact error as those “teachers of the law” that Jesus
condemned. Moreover, once
properly understood, it is seen that the very people who call themselves
Christian today, continue to embrace the same exact error as did the Sadducees,
Pharisees, the Church of Rome, Carl Marx, Darwin, and the majority of our
societies cultural philosophers who the Apostle Paul condemns as promoting the
false wisdom of this world.
Only when we begin to understand these essential biblical concepts, are we able to perceive the wisdom behind the commandment to be in the world and not of it! Why? Because the greater part of our mind and being resides beyond the three-dimensional limitations of this realm -- and so long as we focus our attention only on the things of this world, we can never mature spiritually and enter the Kingdom. Moreover, so long as we attempt to cling to the thinking and natural human understanding of this world, we can never be anything more than cultural Christians who are being nourished by what the Apostle calls the “milk” of the gospel -- never perceiving or understanding the Mysteries of God or the Spiritual and Genuine Gospel of Christ.
It
is the Genuine Christian who has become enlightened by the indwelling Anointing
of the Light, who will perceive that this same Key of Knowledge with respect to
the threefold nature of the written word not only applies to the scriptures, but
to every facet of our lives. Evidence that this threefold
nature is not limited to the Bible, and is present throughout every aspect of
creation is seen in Seiss' Apocalypse for Revelation 1:17-20, where it is
written with regard to the number three: “As such, it has also been done in
all God's works. Man is body, soul, and spirit -- three-one. The family is man,
and wife, and offspring -- three-one. Religion is knowledge, action, and
experience -- three-one”. What
Seiss is saying is that if we desire to escape the error of the Sadducees and
Pharisees, we must recognize that this genetic threefold imprint of God is seen
throughout every aspect of Creation.
Ultimately, Seiss conveys to us the wisdom of the ancients with the
acknowledgment of “man, and wife, and offspring”, and especially when
perceived universally as the positive, negative and balance -- or offspring of
the two primary forces of Creation -- wherein when properly understood, lies the
Key of Knowledge.
What
this means is that in every aspect of our lives we are living out the Divine
Genetic Pattern with which all of Creation has been imbued, and we only need to
become conscious of the forces at work in our lives, and then apply the formula
in accordance with the teachings of the New Covenant. The more we apply the formula, the more we develop from
our embryonic state of mind. As
we become mature, the First Force of Creation -- i.e., the Word -- can instruct
us into all the Mysteries of God.
At Psalms 119:18 where it is
written: “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law”
(RSV), these wondrous truths that the eyes must be opened to are not easily
perceived. On this word that we interpret “wondrous”,
Brown-Driver-Briggs' Definition tells us that what is contained is “beyond
one's power, to be difficult to do... to be difficult to understand...
extraordinary or hard or difficult thing...”
A very important biblical concept
is revealed by the Prophet Isaiah in the words: “For the LORD hath poured
out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets
and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. And the vision of all is become unto
you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is
learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is
sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this,
I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch
as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me,
but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by
the precept of men” (Isa 29:10-13 KJV).
With regard to the statement that
the inner and true meaning of the scriptures are hidden from the mind of man by
the Hand of God, the Commentary Barnes' Notes writes: “The vision of all
the prophets; that is, all the revelations which God has made to you. The
prophet refers not only to his own communications, but to those of his
contemporaries, and of all who had gone before him. The sense is, that although
they had the communications which God had made to them, yet they did not
understand them. They were as ignorant of their true nature as a man who can
read is of the contents of a letter that is sealed up, or as a man who cannot
read is of the contents of a book that is handed to him”.
If we say that we desire to be
disciples of the Truth, and commence our journey into the Light, then it is
absolutely necessary that we begin with the recognition of the barrier that
obstructs our path. It is no
different than if we started a business -- or any other endeavor where there are
obstacles that must be overcome. Truth
belongs only to those who are willing to seek it.
In order for us to commence our
journey as a disciple of the Light, and open our minds to the higher truths of
the spirit, we must start the process by asking the question: Why was the
genuine spiritual revelation of the scriptures closed to the people, their
religious leaders, and their prophets?
If we are to find success in our journey, then we must understand the
reason why the Bible states that God intentionally concealed the true meaning of
the written word? The key to
the great dilemma is found in the words that they permitted themselves to be “taught
by the precept of men” (Isa 29:13).
Thus, one of the most profound
questions that affects every person today: Why is teaching others philosophical
truths as we routinely do in our modern culture considered such a sin from a biblical
perspective? How else are we to instruct and educate our children
but to send them to school? How
else are we to learn and improve ourselves but to study the wisdom of the great
minds of our society? How
else are we to learn the word of God but to attend study groups and learn the
meaning of the scriptures?
In view of the fact that study and
instruction can be very important, the answer to these questions are not easy
for us to understand and embrace. True
learning and knowledge can never be embraced through instruction alone -- but
rather, through instruction that conveys knowledge in its true threefold form,
along with the means to manifest this instruction and knowledge in our daily
lives. If it is the purpose
of instruction to grow our level of consciousness, then we must learn to apply
the Key of Knowledge to our thoughts, as well as every aspect of our lives. As we read the scriptures the most important
interpretation is not the one found in a book, commentary, or our local clergy, but the one that we see with our own mind.
When we take the thoughts of another person and memorize their thoughts,
and attempt to make them our own, we totally negate the power of the written
word, as well as the soul and the spirit to instruct us.
Thus the words of Jesus towards those who teach a doctrinal
interpretation of the scriptures: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert,
and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are”
(Matt 23:15 NIV). What the essence of the New Covenant teachings proclaim is that, in the life of the genuine disciple of the Light, the Lord Himself must be our Only Teacher -- and it is only the Lord Himself that can reveal to us the threefold nature of the Word, the Holy Books that we call Scriptures, as well as every aspect of the life we are presently living. When Paul speaks of faith, he is not referring to the blind faith that is common among Christians today. The faith of Paul is borne out of the knowledge that if we live in strict accord with the Royal Law of the Most High, and seek to overcome the restrictions and limitations of the physical body in which we presently dwell, that the Son of God will come to us and teach us all things pertaining to the Mysteries of God.
Once this reality is properly understood, we can then
begin to discern the difference between the true shepherd of the people -- the
true church manifest in this world -- and the true wise man from whom we must
seek to learn from. The
genuine shepherd of the flock does not preach the gospel -- or teach the meaning
of the scriptures -- but rather, the genuine shepherd teaches by shining his
light, and living in accordance with the pattern of the Lord Himself, for his brothers and sisters to see and emulate,
that they too may come into the Presence of the Lord and learn the Mysteries of
Creation. Thus, the man of
true wisdom understands the truth of Origen’s words where he states that we
already know before we begin to learn -- and thus assists the flock in opening
the mind to the indwelling revelation of the Word.
In an honest appraisal of the
scriptures the Rev. Charles Spurgeon wrote in his autobiography: “The
system of truth revealed in the Scriptures is not simply one straight line, but
two; and no man will ever get a right view of the gospel until he knows how to
look at the two lines at once.... Two truths cannot be contradictory to each
other... and it is only my folly that leads me to imagine that these two truths
can ever contradict each other” (Charles H. Spurgeon, Autobiography Vol.
1: The Early Years. pp. 173, 174).
Rev. Spurgeon could not bring the
two lines of Gospel Truth together -- speaking of them as his “folly”
to even imagine that two of God's teachings could contradict each other.
Yet, Rev. Spurgeon makes an astute and honest observation that, to their
own demise, few Christians throughout history have been willing to admit.
It is absolutely necessary for us to come to terms with the fact that
truth is not only paradoxical, but that in our natural-carnal state, we are
unable to bring these paradoxes together.
In fact, this wide-eyed perception of reality is so important, that we
can never progress beyond the very limited point we are presently at, until we
realize this great truth. Why?
Because it is in the realization of what Spurgeon calls his "folly”
that we begin to open our minds to the reality that exists beyond the physical
barrier of this world.
What Rev. Spurgeon failed to
understand is that this same dilemma has plagued mankind since the very dawn of
time itself. The Bible, as
with all of life, contains an uncountable number of paradoxes -- paradoxes that
on the surface appear to oppose each other because we cannot harmonize and
balance the two opposing truths -- and these two opposing lines are consciously
built into the text of the scriptures.
Moreover, the two lines of truth that Rev. Spurgeon writes about can
never be resolved, because he was missing the third element to the equation.
It is the presence of this third great truth -- the one that brings the
two conflicting and contradicting lines together into an abiding harmony and
oneness -- and the means to perceive it, that we must strive to embrace in our
lives if we are to confront the root cause of our own limitations.
Thus, Rev. Spurgeon perceived the presence of the Key of Knowledge in its
opposite polarities (positive/negative, male/female, dynamic/magnetic), but lacked the third
element to the equation that unlocked the Mysteries of God that had the power to
harmonize and merge the many paradoxes of both the Bible and Creation itself.
Because we continue in the
doctrinal legacy and mindset of men such as Constantine and Justinian, cling to
the limitations of Luther's catechism, and
embrace a quasi-Darwinist perception of life, we permit our children to be
instructed by an educational system that not only does not possess the Key of
Knowledge, but attempts to negate the polarities of the threefold forces of
Creation through a false vision of political correctness.
We therefore embrace a culture that is in total conflict with the Key of
Knowledge -- we worship in churches that parallel the same exact flaw that Jesus
condemned in the Sadducees and Pharisees -- and we continue to perceive life
through the limitations of an intellect that utilizes less than ten percent of
its potential. Moreover, if
individual parents even attempt to live and teach their children in accordance
with the genuine fundamentals of New Covenant teachings, and imbue them with a
vision of the threefold essence of themselves, the scriptures, and Creation, we
have empowered the government to take custody away from these parents.
In view of this fact, how can we call ourselves a free people?
How can we even begin to call ourselves Christian?
The truth is that we are neither free, and neither are we Christian in
the genuine meaning of the word!
If these allegations are true, and
we in fact obstruct and inhibit the parents who even attempt to convey to their
own children the true threefold reality of both the scriptures and Creation,
while we continue to live in accordance with the doctrines of carnal men, do we
really believe that we will be rewarded with the gift of eternal life or any
part of the promise of the New Covenant?
Moreover, to simply reject what I am saying without investigating the
facts in the endeavor to know the truth of the matter for ourselves, must be
viewed as being synonymous with playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded
gun! There was a valid reason why Jesus warned us that man
in his natural organic state is blind to man’s true reality -- blind to the
true meaning of the scriptures -- and blind to the manner he must live in order
to walk in The Way!
What few of us are able to realize
is that these two lines of truth that Rev. Spurgeon could not reconcile is in
fact the greatest moving factor throughout every aspect of our lives -- from the
seemingly smallest coincidental random occurrence, to the most paramount and
decisive incidents that mold our every expression of life itself. To exist in a state of ignorance with respect to the
impact of these two, and ultimately threefold forces upon every interaction of
our lives, is to be totally ignorant of the very meaning and purpose of life
itself. And yet, we educate
our children, and promulgate our doctrines of belief, and attempt to live out
our lives without any awareness or knowledge whatsoever of these two dominant
major factors with which everything else we depend upon in the process of
decision making is subservient to this ultimate defining reality that we fail to
even perceive.
When the scriptures convey the idea
that natural man is spiritually blind to his own greater reality, the very
essence of this blindness is manifest in our failure to even be conscious of the
all-encompassing impact these two lines of truth manifest in an uncountable
number of forms that are simply beyond the ability for the average person to
contemplate. From a biblical
perspective, what we call satanic influence is indicative of a lack of
comprehension and perception of these two forces at work in our lives, and our
failure to apply the third force -- which is the Key -- to bring our life into a
state of Oneness.
From a biblical perspective, it is
Satanic to squander away one’s essence of life on things of no meaning.
Why? Because in order
to know the true being that we are -- i.e., to know our soul and spiritual
natures, and ultimately God -- is the very purpose and reason for life in this realm.
To squander away our vital life-force on things of no value, and never
come to know the essence of the spiritual being that we truly are -- and as the
offspring of God, such a frivolous life is synonymous with living the life of a
fallen god -- this condition that is paramount among the people today is
Satanic.
The biblical reality that we fail
to understand is that everyone who fails to manifest and utilize the Key of
Knowledge to unlock the threefold nature of man and Creation in his life, is
under the dominion of Satan. The
religion of Jesus was one where the genuine disciple was not of this world,
which meant that he was in harmony and at-one with his essence of inner being.
His expression of religion was one of spiritual manifestation, and had
little in common with the traditional philosophical-redemptive religion of the
masses of carnally minded believers who dwell under the dominion of the god of
this world.
What this means is that the
carnally minded sects of Jews known as the Sadducees and Pharisees who called
themselves the chosen people, were controlled by the forces of Satan.
People whose consciousness is of this world and who dwell under the
dominion of Satanic influence, cannot be the chosen people of the One Eternal
God who is the Source of all Being. In
like manner, the Church that called itself Christian that was born in the fourth
century was in reality the Church of Satan. In the words of the Apostle: “Howbeit we speak
wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the
princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a
mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our
glory” (1 Cor 2:6-7 KJV).
To understand the Satanic reality
the Apostle is warning us about, we must first understand the conditions that
the Apostle openly condemns in a very non-politically correct fashion.
It is imperative that we ask the question: How can Paul make the
statement that all wisdom that is embraced by the intellectuals, scientists and
philosophers of this world is in error, and will come to “nought”?
The answer lies in the fact that without regard to how logical and
rational the wisdom of this world sounds to us, it is always in error -- because
being three-dimensional, it is incomplete.
What we fail to understand today as we question the validity of Paul’s
words, is the fact that the Apostle can universally condemn all wisdom of the
philosophers of this world -- irrespective of the timeframe in which they lived
-- because being of a natural mind with its congenital
ten percent limitations, each has failed to utilize the Key of Knowledge in
their lives. What this means is that when Paul condemns the wisdom of the
wise of this world, he is in fact condemning the wisdom that was taught to us,
and is being taught to our own children in our present day.
By virtue of the limitations of our
own three-dimensional perception, when we study the scriptures we fail to
perceive the overshadowing significance that these two lines of seemingly
opposing truth present within every concept that is conveyed to the reader --
and thus the consequential reality of Spurgeon’s words when he wrote what is
perhaps the most important advice to all who open the Bible that “…no man
will ever get a right view of the gospel until he knows how to look at the two
lines at once”. Moreover,
these two lines of truth are merely emblematic of the greater flaw in our
natural vision that ultimately encompasses every aspect of what we think and
comprehend throughout every experience that embraces every solitary moment of
our lives from birth to death and beyond.
The looming problem that is an
obstacle for every Christian when they open the scriptures is the reality that
there is nothing in the Bible that can even be comprehended without a very
thorough and genuine knowledge of the impact of the workings of these two lines
of truth -- with the problem being that because of our present-day
quasi-Darwinist mindset, few Christians today are prepared to even contemplate
with respect to the dynamic design of the essence of genuine original New
Covenant thought. When it is realized that the very term Christian
denotes one who is of an enlightened state of mind because of the Anointing they
have received, then it must also be realized that the present spiritual poverty
that envelopes the modern believer and causes him to cling to faith and belief
in doctrines not fully understood, has been brought about because we permit
secular philosophers, counterfeit religious authorities, and worldly social
re-engineers to dominate the manner in which we think!
Again, the root cause that natural man is almost totally oblivious to, is
the fact that it does not matter at all as to what we believe, so long as what
we believe is not in absolute harmony with the embodiment of these two lines of
truth -- and the reality that Truth cannot even be envisioned or contemplated so
long as we continue to ignore these two lines of truth that impact every element
of both the Bible and life itself.
When we do as the great majority of
our churches today, and close our eyes to the words of Rev. Spurgeon where he
warns us of the two lines of truth in the scriptures that appear to conflict
with each other -- two lines that even he, a well respected biblical authority
could not reconcile -- the reality of which continues to haunt the church to the
degree that no amount of Bible study can bring these two lines together into one
harmonious accord -- our indolence with respect to pursuing the resolution of
the great universal dilemma that the Apostle warns us of, will only bring about
our own demise and spiritual death. Perhaps
more importantly is the fact that from the perspective of the essence of New
Covenant teachings that was placed into the hands of the disciples in the first
century of our Common Era, without the knowledge of the workings of these two
lines of truth, one cannot be born into the next level of being that Jesus
taught was absolutely necessary to enter the Kingdom, and the faithful flock
cannot walk in The Way and become a body of spiritually mature Christians.
Yet, without a doubt, the person today who preaches the gospel, or
believes the gospel, is unable to bring these two conflicting lines of truth
together. Why?
Without the application of the Key of Knowledge which Jesus taught and
revealed to his disciples, it is impossible!
Once properly understood, the
universal flaw of the natural mind of man can be observed in Jesus’
condemnation of the Jewish sects of the Sadducees and Pharisees.
Where we attempt to doctrinally assign this condemnation to the rejection
of Jesus by these sects of secular/carnal Jews, we entrap ourselves in the same
exact bonds of servitude when we fail to perceive the true nature of the
allegation that Jesus alleged against the predominant religious authorities in
his day who he declared to be counterfeit Jews.
The Sadducees and Pharisees failed
to recognize the Messiah manifest in the world, because they failed to properly
utilize the Key of Knowledge and perceive their own soul and spiritual natures
-- which natures has the ability to learn directly from the Son of God who
dwells in the inner most Kingdom that can be accessed by each of us who goes
beyond the congenital limitations of our physical nature.
Thus, because the Sadducees and Pharisees remained very much attached to
the elemental powers of this world, they were in reality impostors when they
proclaimed themselves to be the chosen people of the One Eternal God.
Moreover, once we begin to understand what is being conveyed in the
scriptures, we then are able to begin to perceive that regardless of what the
impostors call themselves, this condition is prevalent among mankind whenever
man permits himself to be ruled by his carnal nature.
Moreover, regardless of the name of the religious-philosophical or
secular-philosophical schools they embrace, the Apostle is correct when he warns
that they will always be in error because of the congenital limitation of mind
that is ruling over their perception and understanding.
